As I wrote in my first post, I wasn’t sure how this space would evolve. It was summer, I got busy, then as things slowed down into winter, and I was working on ideas… I ended up parting ways with Chuckanut Brewery and lost inspiration.
Well, We’re Back. Maybe. No promises. But first, a Spreadsheet Update:
I went back to Czechia and Germany in May and took more Final Gravities with the Anton Paar EasyDens:
Life Updates… Pretty brief. I took over as Head/Only Brewer at Burke-Gilman Brewing Company in Seattle in July. It’s been an interesting ride so far, as the brewery just turned 7 years old, and I’m starting to run into a lot of big maintenance projects. I’ll have a lot more freedom to play around with more styles/ingredients, which is always fun, and maybe this and improvement projects will inspire more blog posts in the coming months.
I had some issues with the blog telling people that it wasn’t safe to visit after I changed registrars, which I didn’t know about. Hopefully, that is all fixed now!
I’m planning to write about one of the ideas I had last year for a post in the next few weeks. Check back towards the end of October for an update.
